Rules and Regulations
- - Only one DyKnow Classroom will be provided per US or Canadian public school district or independant school.
- - Hardware is not provided through the DyKnow Giveaway program.
- - DyKnow will offer incentive pricing to participating schools that wish to purchase additional licenses until July 1, 2010.
- - Participating schools must have reliable Internet connectivity to utilize the software and DyKnow's hosting services. DyKnow reserves the right to turn down schools who do not meet minimum technical requirements.
- - DyKnow software is currently supported on machines running Windows XP and Windows Vista.
- - The DyKnow Software Suite currently runs in English/US and Australian localization only.
- - DyKnow licenses are perpetual which means participating schools will own the awarded licenses for a lifetime; however, support, upgrades and server hosting will only be available for free during the 2009-2010 academic year.
- - In order to continue receiving support, upgrades and server hosting after the 2009-2010 academic year, schools will be required to pay a minimal fee. Alternatively, participating schools can migrate the awarded licenses to a school server for a minimal fee.
- - Participating schools will be required to fill out two short surveys about their experience during the academic year.
- - Participating schools will be asked to provide a brief synopsis of the setting in which the DyKnow Classroom will be used. This will help our customer service team work with each school to determine the best deployment strategy.
- - Training will be conducted via self-paced Internet training tutorials; however, participating schools can purchase live training for an additional fee.
- - In addition to asynchronous training, participants will also receive one year of phone and email support and product updates.
- - All registering schools will be contacted within two business days of registering - winning schools will be notified at that time.
