The DyKnow client allows access to DyKnow authoring tools, which can be used to create and project presentations.

Access to collaborative tools like chat, polling, panel submission, as well as DyKnow Monitor functionality and more can only be gained when connected to a DyKnow server. Upon the purchase of licenses, a team of DyKnow experts assists institutions in configuring their servers to run the DyKnow software suite.

• - PowerPoint Add-in: To better support users more familiar with PowerPoint as a presentation authoring tool, DyKnow has created an optional add-in which enables better integrated PowerPoint and DyKnow usage.
• - When DyKnow is installed, an option is included to install the PowerPoint add-in, which adds a DyKnow tab to the PowerPoint ribbon.
• - PowerPoint 2007 SP1 is required to install the add-in.
• - Embedded Links: Links added in PowerPoint now convert to DyKnow as active links.
• - Using Animation: When authoring in PowerPoint, animations may be used on a slide to incorporate the concept of notebook progressive disclosure at the individual panel level. When brought into DyKnow, these animations are converted to sequential appear animations which enable control of panel content during a session.
• - Embedded Polls: While out of session, Moderators can pre-define and embed a custom True/False, Yes/No or Multiple Choice poll question when authoring a presentation.
• - Moderators may also change the font color and size when pre-defining the poll.
• - The poll may be embedded using either PowerPoint or DyKnow as the presentation authoring tool.
• - Advancing Session Panels: During a Session, Moderators may now advance panels to Participants using the space bar.
• - Log Reports: Added additional localization information to log reports for trouble-shooting purposes.

• - Participant thumbnails did not update in some circumstances.
• - Insertion of an inappropriately formatted URL caused a crash.
