What is the Remote Learning Summit all about?

On March 20th, we wrapped up our first-ever, completely digital Technology Coaching Conference, and with over 2,300 registrants, the response was incredible! We enjoyed hearing from presenters and attendees about what topics resonate with them and what they would like to learn more about.

There was one topic that really stood out from the rest:

Since we have a ton of innovative and skilled Technology Coaches in our network, we want to facilitate more conversation around topics that are important to you, and right now the most important topic is Remote Learning.

Remote Learning Summit

Strategies to overcome challenges and maximize the remote learning environment.

This digital summit is the first installment of our TCC Summit Series and will feature a panel of some of the brightest and most innovative Technology Coaches. Join us on Friday, April 17th at 12:00 p.m. EDT to learn more about how leading Technology Coaches are proactively maximizing their Remote Learning efforts, and actionable tactics you can implement in your remote environment. We will be asking you what questions and topics relating to Remote Learning you need support with, and our panelists will discuss them live! 

This will be a 90 minute, completely virtual summit hosted online and can be accessed from anywhere.

The presentations will only be available for people who register. But if you can’t attend the live stream, we’ll send you the recordings.

Sarah Margeson

Sarah Margeson

Coordinator of Connected Learning, Tippecanoe School Corporation

Serving as the Coordinator of Connected Learning, Sarah works with the Tippecanoe School Corporation in Lafayette, IN. Sarah is a Level 2 Google Certified Educator and Google Certified Trainer. She holds a Master’s in Instructional Design and Technology from Purdue University as well as a CETL certificate from CoSN. Prior to her role at the TSC, Sarah was a high school math teacher in Indiana for six years.

Instructional Technology Training Specialist, Manassas City Public Schools

Dr. Sean Coffron has served as an educator with Manassas City Public Schools for nineteen years, including six years as an administrator and instructional technologist. His research interests include educational theory and practice, professional learning, teacher evaluation, and self-efficacy.

Eric Guise

Eric Guise

Media/Technology Specialist, Hopewell Valley Central High School

Eric Guise is a media specialist and technology coach with more than a decade of experience as a teacher. As co-creator of GotTechED the Podcast, Eric (Known as Guise) has teamed up with long-time friend and officemate, Nick Johnson, to share his educational technology expertise with teachers around the world. Eric is a recognized professional development and educational technology expert, who has presented at countless events, including ISTE, NJECC, and the NJ Science Teachers Convention. Eric was named the 2016 Biology Teacher of Year by the New Jersey Biology Teachers Association and recently completed his EdD in Leadership in Digital Transformation in Educational Technology.

Melanie LeJeune

Melanie LeJeune

Library Media Specialist, St. Louis Catholic High School

Melanie is a Technology Integration Coach/Librarian at St. Louis Catholic High School.  She began her journey in education 21 years ago. Her library experience and master’s degree in Library & Information Science were instrumental in preparing her to be a tech coach.  She is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Microsoft Master Trainer, and Skype Master Teacher. One of her favorite quotes is “I am always learning, always discovering” by Isamu Noguchi.  She loves sharing the joy of learning and discovering with teachers and students. She developed a OneNote Student Avenger program at her school in which students are tested and trained to mentor others. Melanie is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert, Microsoft Master Trainer, Skype Master Teacher, and professional learning specialist with Ed To The Max.
